Middleham is famous for its racing industry and each morning strings of racehorses can be seen passing through on their way to the local gallops on the Moor. Why not combine your visit with a trip to the races? There are nine racecourses within an hour or so and we may even be able to arrange a stable visit for you. Outside we have a delightful private South facing beer garden where on summer mornings breakfast can be taken. The garden almost backs onto the Castle and on summer evenings is floodlit so you can have an 'al fresco' meal whenever the weather permits.
